Service Charge Accounting Manager - Hybrid

Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established organisation in Bristol to recruit a Service Charge Accounting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead a team and make a tangible impact.
 
The Role
As a Service Charge Accounting Manager, you will oversee high-quality service charge accounting and reporting, ensuring your team delivers efficient, accurate, and client-focused work. You will be a key point of contact for both your team and clients, while also contributing to business development initiatives.
 
Your responsibilities as the Service Charge Accounting Manager will include:

• Lead and manage a dedicated team, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and meets quality standards and KPIs.
• Oversee independent reviews of service charge expenditure and related financial reporting.
• Function as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and resolving challenges.
• Report directly to the Director and Partner team on team performance and client matters.
• Support and drive business development by identifying opportunities to expand services.
• Maintain and improve processes to ensure high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

 
To succeed as Service Charge Accounting Manager, you will have/be:

• ACA, ACCA qualified, or equivalent with experience in service charge accounting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience of managing junior staff.
