Job Description

Sheridan Maine is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Tax Manager to join a London-based finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK tax compliance and advisory, with the ability to manage complex tax matters and deliver strategic solutions to both corporate and individual clients.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage all aspects of corporate and personal tax compliance.
-Provide expert tax planning and advisory services to clients and internal stakeholders.
-Ensure compliance with current tax legislation and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes.
-Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and related filings.
-Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling queries and investigations.
-Support clients through audits, disclosures, and restructuring activities.
-Identify tax-saving opportunities and mitigate potential liabilities.
-Lead and mentor junior tax staff, supporting their development and performance.

Requirements:
-ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with a strong background in tax.
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in a tax-focused role, ideally in practice or a large corporate environment.
-In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC procedures.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
-Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to communicate complex tax matters in a clear and professional manner.
