Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice based in London to recruit a talented and motivated Tax Senior or Tax Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and professional team, providing high-quality tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, delivering exceptional compliance and advisory services. You will be involved in tax planning, liaising directly with clients, and ensuring all work is completed in line with statutory deadlines and practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients.
  • Liaise with HMRC and clients to resolve tax queries.
  • Keep up to date with changes in UK tax law and regulations.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance where required.

Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
  • ATT/CTA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple client relationships.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
