Key responsibilities of the Audit Associate Director include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of companies.
- Planning and delivering audits on time, on budget, and to the highest professional standards.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and listing requirements.
- Providing technical guidance and advice, particularly for clients operating under complex regulatory frameworks.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the principal contact for CFOs, CEOs, and boards.
- Managing, mentoring, and training team members, including performance management and career development support.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support client growth and engagement.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning across the audit team.
The successful Audit Associate Director will have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Significant experience managing a portfolio of clients within an audit practice.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, particularly with senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements effectively.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to getting things done.
- A commitment to learning, improvement, and supporting the development of others.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and office-based tasks.
