The role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to work closely with Audit Seniors and Managers, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the audit process.
Key responsibilities of the Semi Senior Auditor include:
- Assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments.
- Preparing statutory accounts and audit files in accordance with UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Performing audit fieldwork both on-site and remotely.
- Identifying audit issues and communicating findings clearly to senior team members.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the audit team.
- Building and maintaining effective client relationships.
The successful Semi Senior Auditor will have:
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent) status.
- Previous audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- A strong understanding of audit methodology and accounts preparation.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to client interaction.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
