Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established and forward-thinking chartered accountancy practice based in Kent to recruit a Semi Senior Auditor. The role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to work closely with Audit Seniors and Managers, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the audit process.

Key responsibilities of the Semi Senior Auditor include:

• Assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments.
• Preparing statutory accounts and audit files in accordance with UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Performing audit fieldwork both on-site and remotely.
• Identifying audit issues and communicating findings clearly to senior team members.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the audit team.
• Building and maintaining effective client relationships.

The successful Semi Senior Auditor will have:

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent) status.
• Previous audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• A strong understanding of audit methodology and accounts preparation.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach to client interaction.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
